just rewatched it this afternoon, it's true the part where Cynthia gets mad after having been rebuffed isn't there, that's a shame

No frames are removed with PAL, it is sped up 4 percent, but no frames are lost.

yes, pal is 25 fps (50hz) whereas ntsc is 30 (60hz), i guess thats why on the back of z1 dvd boxes it's printed "fullframe"
hopefully the difference isn't notiscible by the eye

PAL actually gives you more resolution (higher picture quality) than NTSC. So you are actually seeing more.
But as for the speed up factor - according to studies most people can't tell the difference, but those with highly pitch sensitive ears can "hear" a difference.

Some scenes I recall of the Full Contact version:
1. The torching of Lyon's brother in the beginning is longer, as he flails around for nearly twice as long as he does in other versions.
2. The scene with Lyon walking to the docks from the desert is a little longer.
3. After Lyon jumps from the merchant ship in NY harbor, you actually see a scene with him getting out of the water and onto the dock area and then walking into the alleyway and looking up at the Twin Towers. (You see the part of him in the alley in most cuts, but getting out of the water was in this cut.)
4. The hotel scene when Lyon tells Cynthia he wants to get another place, there is about a 3-4 min scene not in other versions to my knowledge where she goes nuts and yells and Lyon and they argue back and forth.
5. After Lyon gets his rib broken he goes to a doctor. Well most versions it ends with Lyon paying the doctor not to mention his broken rib. Well this version has Lyon walking out of there and going around the corner of the hospital and he sees Cynthia asking where he is and looking concerned and there is some discussion between the two of them.
There may be other stuff that I can't think of right now...
